Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Lowboy Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hauling heavy machinery and be proficient in operating equipment for loading and unloading. This is a long-term position offering stability and growth opportunities within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a lowboy truck to transport heavy machinery to and from job sites.

- Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly for transit.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.

- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.

- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries and equipment movements.

- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of the truck and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lowboy driver in the construction or paving industry.

- Proven experience in hauling heavy machinery and oversized loads.

- Proficiency in operating various types of equipment for loading and unloading purposes.

- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
