Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong focus on concrete to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Responsibilities:
- Make purchase orders and product scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement. Ensure project timelines are met and milestones achieved.
- On-Site Supervision: Provide on-site leadership and supervision to concrete crews, and other personnel. Monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders regarding on-site activities, progress updates, and any concerns or inquiries. Maintain open lines of communication to address client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Mandatory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
