The Position

The Vermont Country Store is currently seeking Custodian to maintain the neat, clean, safe, and orderly appearance of the Rockingham Store on a scheduled basis. This position could be Full Time or Part Time.

Where We Are

Our Rockingham store is located at 1292 Rockingham Road, Bellows Falls. This job is performed entirely on site.

A Sampling of What You’ll Do

• Clean the store by sweeping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing 
• Pick up trash from the registers, restrooms, offices and common areas
• Clean and sanitize the restrooms, including restocking supplies
• Help manage our cleaning supply inventory 

Who We’re Looking For

• Flexibility with schedule including weekends and holiday hours on occasion
• No previous housekeeping experience is required, we will provide training
• Must be organized, detail orientated, and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with good communication skills 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally push or pull 150 pounds
