Onward Search is Hiring a Helpdesk support Near Roseville, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Support Associate with 3-5 years of helpdesk experience and a strong background in managing and supporting various IT environments.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can efficiently prioritize tasks and provide top- notch support in a fast-paced startup environment.

Helpdesk Support Associate Responsibilities :

  • User Management :
  • Onboard and offboard users in Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra.
  • Manage user access and security provisioning across these platforms.
  • Email Management :
  • Provide support and administration for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 email services.
  • Messaging :
  • Support and manage Slack and Teams messaging platforms.
  • Voice Services :
  • Administer and support voice services using Google Voice and RingCentral.
  • Collaboration Tools :
  • Provision and support accounts for Jira / Confluence and Monday.com.
  • Cloud Services :
  • Support and manage cloud services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • End-Point Security :
  • Implement and manage end-point security solutions using Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and ESET.
  • Device Management :
  • Utilize Jamf with Apple Business Manager for managing Macs and Microsoft Intune for managing PCs.
  • Procurement :
  • Handle IT procurement processes using CDW and Softchoice.
  • Ticketing Systems :
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets and manage them through FreshService and Jira Service Management.
  • Technical Support :
  • Provide troubleshooting support for IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Security Management :
  • Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data and resources.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Helpdesk Support Associate Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of helpdesk experience.
  • Google Workspace Administrator Certification. (Preferred)
  • Experience with onboarding and offboarding users in Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra.
  • Proficiency in managing email services in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with messaging platforms such as Slack and Teams.
  • Experience provisioning and supporting accounts for Jira / Confluence and Monday.com.
  • Experience with supporting cloud services on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with end-point security solutions such as Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and ESET.
  • Proficiency in device management using Apple Business Manager (and Jamf) or Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with IT procurement processes using CDW and Softchoice.
  • Experience working tickets through FreshService or Jira Service Management highly preferred.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve IT issues quickly.
  • Experience in a startup environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely, adhering to EST hours.
