Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver health education programs and curriculum to students of various grade levels
- Conduct presentations and workshops on various health-related topics, such as nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and substance abuse prevention
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate health education into the overall school curriculum
- Evaluate and assess student needs and develop individualized health plans when necessary
- Provide support and guidance to students on personal health issues and concerns
- Organize and coordinate school wellness initiatives and events
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents on health-related matters
- Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field
- Experience working with students in an educational or community setting
- Strong knowledge of health education principles and practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using computer software and technology for educational purposes
