Construction Superintendent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and coordinating with various teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction sites to ensure projects are completed according to plans and specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations, including OSHA standards, to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents to guide project execution effectively.
- Utilize Primavera and Prolog software for project scheduling and management.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to coordinate work efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
Experience:
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team on-site.
