Dedicated area supervisor to lead and oversee a team of individuals in our finishing department. Our finishing department uses cranes and forklifts to remove galvanized items from racks, determines order weights for invoicing, checks orders for completeness, and prepares and packages orders for shipment.

In this role, you will work on the plant floor with the team and be responsible for maintaining discipline and efficiency among the crew, prioritizing orders, maintaining a safe work environment, housekeeping, checking order weights and piece counts, monitoring quality, and working with management to resolve order discrepancies.
What we are looking for :
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of 10-20 individuals.
- Proficiency in data entry and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams.
- Certification or training in crane operation or related fields.
- Forklift experience
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
- Prior experience in the steel fabrication industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management and invoicing systems.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
- Experience with cranes.
