Security Officers play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure environment for all our Guests and Team Members. Security Officers are responsible for enforcing Park rules and policies, maintaining a highly visible security presence throughout the Park via foot patrols and stationary positions (posts), and identifying and reporting safety hazards. Additional responsibilities include communicating via two way radio and phones, writing and submitting clear, concise reports, reuniting lost children and personal belongings, assisting in placement and removal of barricades and cones, opening and closing gates to best direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and adhering to all Team Member guidelines and departmental SOPs.
Ideal candidates are trustworthy, reliable, and possess integrity. Candidates must work well both as a team and individually, and communicate effectively with other members of the department, management, public safety, etc.
The job is Seasonal through Oct 31. There is an increase in hours during the summer months. However we are very flexible on schedules and there are no minimum required hours.
