Description

We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join our team and take on the challenge of managing commercial projects that fall outside the scope of our residential sales team. This role will involve putting together quotes, creating professional submittals, providing technical information on commercial products, and working closely with our equipment and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Store Hours:

Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Salary Rate:

Salary: $120,000 / year

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotes with appropriate and competitive pricing for commercial projects.
• Develop professional submittals for client review, ensuring we stand out in the competitive commercial market.
• Provide technical data and information on commercial or non-standard products.
• Collaborate with the equipment and technical teams to facilitate product training when needed.
• Build relationships with key account players, gaining their trust and ensuring seamless communication without disrupting existing relationships.
• Assist in developing payment plans and securing funds from clients for large-scale projects, ensuring timely payments.
• Train store champions to handle basic quoting and submittal tasks, fostering a culture of self-sufficiency.
• Create a standardized process for handling commercial and unique products, making it repeatable and trainable.
• Work closely with procurement teams to ensure proper ordering procedures, especially for projects tied to special pricing quotes with vendors.
• Optimize time for Territory Managers and Counter sales staff by taking on complex and time-consuming projects.
• Develop a centralized job board to track and manage bidding opportunities, providing transparency across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of commercial products and the project management process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor relationships.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
