Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Telecommunications Cable Technician with a minimum of 2 years in the telecommunications industry. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, insulation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and copper cable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, insulate, and terminate fiber optic and copper cables.
• Test and troubleshoot cable systems using various testing tools.
• Ensure installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform insulation tasks to protect cables from environmental and mechanical damage.
• Document installation activities and maintain accurate records.
• Work with installation tools and equipment in various environments.

Tools and Equipment:

• Cable testers (Fluke Networks, etc.)
• Punch-down tools
• Crimpers
• Fish tape and conduit benders
• Fiber optic termination kits
• Insulation materials and tools

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cable installation and insulation within the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with installation, insulation, and testing tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
