If you have hands on experience in smart irrigation control systems with thorough knowledge in design, installation and management of commercial irrigation systems, we want you on our team!

Highlights of what our Water Irrigation Specialist will include, but not limited to :

• Assist team with all aspects of water management including : watering to a budget, being aware of local water restrictions and assist managers to adhere to them, assistance with controller programming, water conservation hardware, etc.
• Development of relationships with and understanding of regulations of local water purveyors
• Keeping abreast of current relevant landscape rebates available in the region
• Assist technicians with technical challenges and use those opportunities to train them and improve their skills
• Provide technical assistance with larger, more complex irrigation projects and estimates
• Provide simplified irrigation inspection summaries and quotes for new projects or as requested by managers. All reports should be written in a way that is easy to understand by the client who likely has limited irrigation understanding
• Proactively identify and recommend irrigation / water conservation projects to drive increased revenue in the region
• Assisting team in identifying and improving efficiency in tech and account manager communication in order to improve revenue capture
• Assist with effective project execution to help improve revenue generation and margin

Are you the right fit for this role?

• Skills & experience that are necessary as a Water Irrigation Specialist will include, but not limited to :
• Possess a basic understanding of common irrigation vocabulary in Spanish and able to communicate effectively with Irrigation Technicians & Gardeners (bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus)
• Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Certification is highly preferred, but at a minimum, can obtain and maintain Irrigation Association Certifications : CIT & CLIA
• Possess a basic understanding of common irrigation vocabulary in Spanish and English
• Sound working knowledge of all widely used smart" irrigation control systems available to include knowledge of design, installation and management of commercial irrigation systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

SALARY RANGE :

• $77,00 - $92,000 per year (s pecific compensation may vary based on overall skills, experience and location)
