Position Overview:

Beewise is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and payroll processing.
  • Process AP invoices, assemble bill payments, and maintain a relationship with vendors that includes frequent communication
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Netsuite).
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax requirements.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance to auditors.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a startup environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Netsuite.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
