CACI is hiring a Network Engineer to provide support to the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and United States Space Force (USSF) under the Mission Assurance Support Contract (MASC). The MASC program provides Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Telemetry Operations and Launch Display System for enhanced mission awareness in support of the OSL and USSF space launch capability.
What You'll Get To Do:
Implement and maintain an accredited network environment to include Netgear, Cisco & Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. Responsible for the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of networks supporting OSL Launch Information Dissemination and Simulation (LIDS) systems.
Establish networking environment by managing system configuration, installing systems, documenting system architecture, and adhering to network standards.
Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution, including present and future capacity requirements.
Maintain and moderate testbed and conduct testing of network systems.
Monitor network performance, responding to and troubleshooting network problems and outages.
Scheduling upgrades and conduct equipment refreshes.
Collaborate with network architects on network optimization.
Assist remote users with connections to our internal R&D network.
