Role Description

Join the dream team as our digital marketing strategist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies and initiatives.

As our communications point person, you will work closely with our Marketing & Public Affairs team, ensuring seamless coordination and effective representation of our vision.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns for social media, orchestrating communication campaigns, and fostering media related relationships.

While some remote work is feasible, proximity to Santa Monica, CA is essential, as you'll need to be readily available for calls and in person engagements.

Qualifications

• At least a few years of work experience or equivalent in a communications role, preferably with some experience in political campaigns or related fields.

• Ability to craft clear and compelling messages for various platforms, including press releases, social media posts, and campaign materials.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for engaging and growing an audience online.

• Experience interacting with diverse communities and addressing their concerns or inquiries effectively.

• Ability to plan and coordinate campaign events, rallies, and public appearances.

• Knowledge of media relations principles and experience working with journalists and media outlets to promote campaign initiatives and respond to inquiries.

• Understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including email marketing, online advertising, and website management.

• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Ability to collaborate with campaign staff, volunteers, and external partners to achieve campaign goals.

• Political Savvy: Familiarity with political processes, issues, and strategies, along with a commitment to the campaign's goals and values.

• Passionate about making change and shaping Public Policy.
