About The RolePart of our success comes from pioneering and leading the industry in advertising solutions for the world of streaming. We are looking for someone who will apply their visual design expertise to deliver novel advertising experiences that engage users and connect them with the content they love. You will help brands to reach an audience they are currently missing. If you are a Visual Designer driven by a passion for great design, a designer who can channel that passion for delivering solutions that are creatively inspired and pragmatically realized, we need you! We’re a small, collaborative team that is highly experienced at providing design solutions that create impact.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $130,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What you’ll be doing
- Design branded content ad units that drive engagement and add user value
- Creating production-quality visual assets for partner clients that will go live on Roku platforms
- Balancing requirements from advertising partners, business, engineering, and users to find and create best-in-class design solutions
- Creating and managing production-ready assets for TV
- Refining and refreshing existing visual designs
- Creating and delivering visual design guidelines and specs
- Clearly and concisely presenting and analyzing design concepts, solutions, and alternatives
- Representing the end-user and ensuring UX integrity when collaborating with cross-functional teams
- A portfolio that demonstrates years of relevant design experience working with a variety of brands
- Strong background in creative problem solving, strategic brainstorming, creative execution, and production
- Solid visual design foundation (typography, layout, etc.) and are well-versed in design systems
- Passion for figuring out how things work
- Strong experience working with interactive content and creating production-ready artwork and assets
- Ability to think, respond, and design quickly with a keen eye for details on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of UI design and information architecture
- Experience working at either consumer-focused technology or media companies
- Adobe After Effects experience preferred
