CyberCoders is Hiring a Superintendent - Multifamily Near Savannah, GA
Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, from start to finish. They will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction project are completed in accordance with plans and specifications. The Superintendent will also ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocol
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Hire and manage subcontractors and other personnel as needed
- Monitor project progress, inspect workmanship and materials, and take corrective action if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, labor, and materials
- Communicate regularly with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in construction management
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, grade elevations, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, foundation and structural systems, exterior wall systems, interior finishes, and other aspects of construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with multi-family or multifamily construction projects preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret survey stakes
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and personnel
