Thank you for your interest in our open position for an HR Talent Specialist with VIP Hospitality!
The HR Talent Specialist is a key figure in ensuring full-staffing for all contracts by overseeing and participating in every aspect of recruitment and onboarding in compliance with all applicable laws and facilitating policy adherence and implementation throughout the process. As a secondary responsibility, this specialist will identify talent and its development, coordinating training, performance review management, and aid in succession planning. When not engaged in these responsibilities, the specialist will aid in human resources support and general employee inquiries. Those in this position will attend job fairs, open house events, and will likely be involved intimately with implementations and seasonal and mass hiring events which may necessitate travel up to 50% of the time.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field and a minimum of one to three years of experience particularly in recruiting, onboarding, and development. You must be able to successfully manage and utilize an ATS and HRIS for completion of job duties. Preference to those meeting these minimum requirements and also bilingual in Spanish or with PHR/SHRM-CP certification. You must also be eligible to obtain and maintain necessary credentials for work at the airport and in various Customs bonded areas to meet and engage recent hires.
The position is based out of Seatac, Washington with work in or near SEA international airport with likelihood of travel. Opportunities to work remotely will be directly related to work conditions and requirements as most to all sole or final interviews are expected to be conducted on-site or within company or contractor offices. This is a new position but expected compensation for this position is in the range of $67,724.80 to $73,923.00 per year with eligibility for medical, dental, vision benefits, paid time off and 401(k) participation.
