ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT : Construction
SUPERVISOR : Construction Director
FLSA : Non- Exempt
Salary Range : $18.00 - $25
Valid Oklahoma CDL Driver’s License (Minimum Class B)
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS : In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.
00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
JOB SUMMARY : Performing construction duties independently of others
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Basic Carpentry Skills
- Operate Backhoe & Forklift
- Assist with heavy equipment operations as needed
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform other duties and projects as required by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION :
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in construction
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to operate heavy equipment if applicable
- Valid Oklahoma CDL Driver’s License
- High Diploma or GED Equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Position may include any or all of the following : Much of the work is performed in inclement weather and during all seasons.
Some work is performed in confined areas, on slick and wet surfaces. Employees are exposed to vibrations, loud continuous noise, offensive smells, dust, dirt and water.
Exposed to injury from moving equipment, insect bites, poisonous plants, flying objects, slippery surfaces and hazardous materials.
Must have strength to pull, lift and / or push 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds (such as a bag of cement) on an infrequent basis.
Stamina to exert self throughout the day in all weather conditions. Exposed to hazards associated with operating heavy equipment and machinery
