We are offering a full-time position based out in Smithfield, RI as Software Engineer in Test. This is going to be a long-term project with a direct end client. You will be working under the payroll of PALNAR for a reputed direct end client with no layers in between. As far for PALNAR we are 25-year-old Global firm and head office is based out in Cranbury, NJ. We are cash rich and pay twice in a month. Your immigration needs will be addressed accordingly and will be given preference.
Position : Software Engineer in Test
Location : Smithfield, RI.
Type : Hybrid
Experience : At least 10 years (Mid Senior Level)
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks (Oracle, Cucumber, JavaScript/Angular, HTTP, RESTful web services)
- Participate in understanding and grooming of user stories, build QA tasks, test cases, and functional automation
- Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or Postgres.
- Experience with PL/SQL and sophisticated queries, views, packages etc.
- Expertise in Java, Python, Karate and/or Cucumber.
- Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks(Selenium & Rest assured) and demonstrate proficiency, quality and passion in your coding ability
- Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, Restful API’s, Enterprise messaging like ActiveMQ, Kafka
- Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash.
- Experience or understanding of Agile software development methodology using Scrum
- Hands-on software QA testing experience
- Strong understanding of JIRA and Xray tools and processes
Skills & Expertise:
- Java
- Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks(Selenium & Rest assured) and demonstrate proficiency, quality and passion in your coding ability
- Cucumber
- Strong understanding of JIRA and Xray tools and processes proficient in at least one relational Database management system (RDBMS), such as Oracle.
- Database/testing tools, such as SQL Developer
- Write simple to moderately complex SQL queries and execute them to perform test validations
