Duties
- Manage and supervise a team of service technicians
- Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with HVAC systems, air conditioning units, etc.
- Design and implement maintenance programs for equipment and systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Order necessary parts, equipment, and supplies needed for service and installation jobs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Make sales calls and develop new customers
- Do timely estimates and follow up with customers
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the HVAC industry
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, heating systems, air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, etc.
- schedule weekly tech training meetings. Review and discuss callbacks.
- Take part in company departmental budget/goal setting and monitoring
- Perform ride-alongs to ensure all training and procedures are being followed
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
