Job Description

Hubbell, Inc. is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join our team in South Bend, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, tooling plans, and work instructions to determine the correct size and type of dies for the production of tools and dies.
• Use a variety of dies to make various sizes of holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
• Read drawings to determine the correct size and type of dies needed for the production of tools and dies.
• Operate various sized dies to make holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
• Operate various sized lathes to make holes for rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
• Operate various sized presses to make holes for screws, bolts, etc.
• Clean and maintain dies and other metal equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to operate various sized lathes and grinders.
• Ability to operate various sized presses.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $38.40 per hour

Experience:

• Electrical discharge machining: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Journeyman License (Preferred)
