Description: Behavior Services & Therapy is seeking dedicated recreational therapists who are pursuing long term employment, which we believe allows for the best professional growth and peace of mind for your retirement plans, covered healthcare, and liability coverage while you are out in the community. With a supportive management team, the therapist can focus on providing the best quality therapy to clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The therapist will provide daily one-on-one treatment in the client’s home or in different community locations such as the zoo, local parks, or the gym. Monthly group activities are also provided at the company’s office in downtown South Bend. The therapist will administer leisure assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and complete other state-required paperwork, as well as meet quarterly with the client’s support team to discuss goal progress. Qualifications: Certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
Requirements: Applicants must be organized and able to maintain a personal calendar, monthly timesheets and paperwork. Applicants must have reliable transportation. Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities population is a plus
