Construction Superintendent
ReArch Company’s geography is growing into Southern VT, NH and Northern MA, and we are seeking Construction Superintendents for our growing project base in that area. Reporting to ReArch’s Director of Field Operations, Superintendents are responsible for the overall management and supervision of midsize to large commercial construction projects such as healthcare facilities, retail, commercial office, industrial, education/institutional work, senior living/multifamily and limited custom private residences. You’ll work closely with ReArch’s Assistant Superintendents, Forepersons, Carpenters, and subcontractors to ensure the highest production, quality, safety, and customer service standards are met. Day to day responsibilities include developing and maintaining the site’s weekly schedule, directing and monitoring construction activities, adhering to budget estimates and implementing cost saving actions when possible, conducting daily site inspections, and enforcing safety standards and procedures. The typical pay range for this position is $98,000-132,000/year depending on experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience supervising commercial construction projects exceeding budgets of $8,000,000, and possess a college and/or professional degree, preferably in an engineering or related field, or have a commensurate level of experience. In addition to extensive construction knowledge and a long history of successfully managed projects, the ideal candidate has a personable and courteous attitude towards their coworkers, the ability to collaborate in a positive and respectful manner with subcontractors and regulators, and above all a proactive approach to providing outstanding customer service.
