- Managing all phases of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Reviewing and interpreting project blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other industry standards.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality.
- Resolving any problems that may arise during the construction process.
- Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and developments.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management in healthcare.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, contracts, and schedules.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A thorough understanding of construction safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) would be a plus.
