Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain patient records and schedule appointments- Provide patients with post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist- Sterilize instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience
- X-Ray certification preferred
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with Epic or other medical records systems
- Strong medical coding skills
- Ability to perform patient assessments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
