As the FP& A Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of our biotech company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis activities, with a focus on Adaptive Planning implementation and expertise in managing clinical trial accruals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes.Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives.Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, adapting plans based on changing business conditions.Monitor and report on budget variances, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Provide insights into key performance indicators, variance analysis, and trends affecting the financial health of the organization.Collaborate with department heads to understand and communicate financial implications of business initiatives.Manage and refine the clinical trial accrual process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines.Collaborate with clinical operations and project management teams to gather relevant information for accrual calculations.Monitor and analyze clinical trial expenses, providing timely and accurate accruals for financial reporting.Assist with the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of Adaptive Planning software.Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.Ensure the integration of Adaptive Planning with other financial systems for seamless data flow and reporting.
