Provide engineering support for the following disciplines: labor management, warehouse management, automation, PLC, supply chain solutions, productivity improvements, cost savings, ergonomic improvement. Be an active participant on the leadership team by devising and implementing solutions to improve our customer and employee experience. Act as a conduit for ideas and formulate actions around opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of WMS improvement
• Development of automation augmentation
• Improve storage and throughput capacity
• Develop improvement project with an ROI through to an on-time completion
• Development of labor standards and measurement
• Perform time in motion studies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, Industrial preferred
• 2-3 years working in a Distribution environment
• Facility planning Design and layout. New Build, 3PL’s or building enhancement.
• Experience with CAD software – Autocad preferred.
• Lean Six sigma certification.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Computer skills, Software knowledge, Equipment experience…

• Understanding of office systems (including computers and relevant software packages)
• Ability to use SQL or BI tools for analytics to support business.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work flexibly long hours and weekends potentially
