Safety Technician Opportunity Available in Plantsville, Connecticut
**About the Position**
Are you looking to launch a career in the safety field? We are seeking a Safety Technician to provide safety support to construction operations and help with program updates. In this entry-level position, you will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Safety Director, collaborating with field operations to maintain a safe work environment for Team Members. This is a full-time position based in our Plantsville office in Connecticut.
**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist with program updates and safety support for construction operations
• Work under the direct supervision of an experienced Safety Director
• Collaborate with field operations to ensure a safe work environment for Team Members
• Use independent judgment to address safety-related issues

**Qualifications**

• OSHA 10-hour construction certificate required
• Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field preferred
• Experience in heavy civil construction or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of general construction safety and health regulations, including OSHA
• Experience with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Goal-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Portuguese) preferred
• Must be a US Citizen with a valid driver's license
