Role Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will spearhead the development of robust systems and processes designed to capture data effectively. Your primary goal will be to facilitate informed decision-making, drive continuous improvements, and mitigate failures across all operational fronts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with production teams in both Fabrication and Manufacturing to develop comprehensive quality control plans. These plans will serve as the foundation for addressing non-conforming parts, processes, or materials swiftly and effectively.
• Generate, analyze, and present quality metrics to Manufacturing and Quality management, providing actionable insights to drive performance enhancements.
• Lead or oversee Corrective/Preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring that root causes of issues are identified and addressed promptly to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance with both internal standards and external regulations, such as ISO 9001, within manufacturing areas.
• Facilitate seamless communication across functions and departments, ensuring alignment on quality standards, processes, and pertinent data to foster a culture of transparency and collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, coupled with 0-2 years of specific Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of combined relevant education and related quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and process improvement techniques.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and standards, including ISO 9001.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated problem-solving prowess and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail, adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines.
