Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking associates in our USA Parkway warehouse. 

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to wield substantial influence in the success and growth of our organization.

Shift Schedule: 

1^st Shift: Sun- Wed 6:00AM- 4:30PM

2^nd Shift: Sun- Wed 1:00PM-11:30PM

3^rd Shift: Wed- Sat at 6:00AM- 4:30PM

4^th Shift: Wed- Sat 1:00PM- 11:30PM

Primary Job Responsibilities 

• Responsible and accountable for the accuracy and quality of all outbound processes including pick, pack, loading, and transportation. 
• Manage and approve outbound schedules for all carriers. 
• Interface with outbound carriers to ensure accurate shipment possession handoff data and process.
• Prepare loads and schedule LTL outbound, pallet stack, wrap and load. 
• Manage dunnage, tape & seal, and Shipment label process and accuracy. 
• Complete and maintain DOT HazMat Certification and training to staff 
• Troubleshoot problems including discrepancies, system processing issues, and operational opportunities and provide corrective action to resolve. 
• Record and monitor KPI’s (SLA’s) per contract; working with Management as needed to rectify and resolve issues that have contributed to underperformance. 
• Ensure that all processes related to department tasks are followed and take corrective action when not followed. 
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols. 
• Drive process improvement and warehouse process standardization; ensuring that training is completed as needed 
• Drive Safety Initiative: ensuring that the facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition. 
• Provide leadership and coaching to site-based team thru active recruiting, training and evaluating employees

Qualifications and Experience 

• 5 years of management and/or leadership experience in logistics 
• Undergraduate degree preferred, or relevant experience in relevant field of study 
• Lean Six Sigma Experience and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience are a plus 
• Dangerous Goods shipping a plus
