Kutak Rock LLP is Hiring a Litigation Associate Near Spokane, WA

JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Spokane, WA Litigation Practice. Qualified candidates have at least three years of complex commercial and/or employment litigation experience. Experience in copyright and/or trademark litigation is beneficial, but not required. This dynamic role affords the opportunity to work in Kutak Rock's expanding regional and national litigation practice.

  • Ability to be strategic and analytical
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to address sophisticated legal issues in complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and appeals
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to help shape and expand a growing practice
  • Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment
  • Ability to be mentored and taught remotely by attorneys in other offices
  • Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
  • Law Degree (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school required
  • Preference will be given to those with strong academic credentials, a judicial clerkship, or law review experience
  • Currently admitted to practice in Washington State with an active bar license in good standing required
  • Minimum three years of experience in complex commercial and/or employment litigation with courtroom and trial experience required
  • Preference given to those with copyright and/or trademark litigation experience
Position Information
Salary Range: $125,000-$165,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Status: Exempt
Work Location: Hybrid 3:2 or Remote (Based on chosen candidate location and ability to travel)
