What We're Offering
Compensation Range:91,000 to 115,000
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
This role must use a high degree of technical competence and project management experience to manage new and existing products. Must possess the abilityto become an advocate and owner of your portfolio from cradle to grave. It will define product requirements that meet market needs and ensure that profitable products are created, tested, and are ready for market. Will utilize technical competence and project management experience to manage new and existing products through all phases of the product life cycle and maintain competitiveness of the technical product offering to grow market share and profitability.
* Manage products through the life cycle, from strategic planning, tactical execution to end-of-life
* Establish relationships with Account Management and Sales Engineering to position and sell products successfully, providing training and leadership on strategic opportunities and participating in visits to customers, prospects, and partners
* Collaborate with Sales and the customer to translate opportunity/customer-specific needs into technical requirements
* Maintain a keen understanding of product/industry/competitive trends, and co-own product roadmaps for standard product lines
* In conjunction with Account Management & Corporate Marketing, develop and maintain all product management documentation, including product concept proposals, business cases, product needs & requirements, product specifications, launch plans, product collateral, and training materials
* Provide responses to RFP's & RFQ's in a fast paced, cross company location environment
* Monitor revenue, costs, and sell-through and initiate actions to achieve life cycle volumes and margins, and EOL actions
* Work cross functionally with the greater team to deliver world class solutions to the customer through all phases of product development, from concept to release, on-time delivery, and anticipated external expense
* In conjunction with Technical Support, identify product reliability trends and support preventative/corrective action
* Provide support for Field Services and Technical Support including product training and assisting in field issues as necessary
