Job Details:What does a Social Media Manager do?The Social Media Manager at Tyson Foods will be responsible for managing and amplifying our organic social media channels for Tyson Foodservice channels. Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating and curating content, posting across our channels, responding to comments and direct messages, and reporting on organic performance to monitor and track success. You will grow our business through posting engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube – and capture brand sentiment through social listening and sales advocacy. These key insights will help drive customer relationships, inform product innovation, and foster a community of engaged foodservice operators.
Responsibilities
  • Orchestrating the day-to-day execution of social media activities, including content posting and community management.
  • Manage posting schedule in collaboration with content teams and agency to curate posts to be used for social media purposes.
  • Build and nurture social media platform-specific communities and audiences to ensure increased engagement for Tyson Foodservice
  • Cultivate and engage with an online community, fostering positive relationships with followers, and implementing strategies to enhance brand presence and customer satisfaction across various social media platforms. Inclusive of responding to direct messages, comments and sharing of user-generated content.
  • Own digital strategy around social media activation and how it incorporates into other marketing channels like paid media, marketing automation, website and search.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations around social media content and performance to inform content strategy.
  • Research and administer social media tools on a daily basis in support of Tyson Foodservice social media strategy
  • Monitor and evaluate social media results on a daily basis in coordination with goals and benchmarks
  • Manage communication to cross-functional teams and agencies on social platform development, timelines, and results
  • Work closely with the other team members to meet marketing and digital goals
  • Keep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing/relevant field or 4 years of relevant experience accepted in substitution of degree Required.
  • 3 years of social media & marketing experience with track record of increasing responsibility required. B2B preferred.
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and other social media best practices and usage.
  • Experience working with social media monitoring tools and social media management tools (Sprinklr, Sprout, etc)
  • Experience understanding social media KPIs and how to use them to inform content creation.
  • Experience social analytics using variety of tools including Google or Adobe analytics, and native social analytics platforms (Facebook Business and Analytics Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or Social Media Management Tool Reporting Suites, etc.)
  • Experience with social listening and researching social audiences online.
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
