We are looking for an experienced welder who enjoys challenges and exceeding expectations to join our team. Must be able to read simple blueprints and drawings of parts to accurately finish each task. The ideal candidate would have a steady hand, great attention to detail, time management skills. You would be responsible for welding custom parts based on prints.
Responsibilities:
•Read simple blueprints and drawings
•Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of welds based on project needs
•Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
•Test and inspect welded surfaces to detect flaws
Requirements:
•Proven experience as a welder or schooling
•Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
•Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
•Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.)
•Attention to detail, time management skills, and a positive attitude
•High School diploma/GED preferred
•Professional certification is a plus
•Willingness to undergo a background check and/or drug test
•Steel-toed boots
•Willingness to perform a weld test to exhibit skills and knowledge
Shift/Compensation
•First shift 6am- 2:30pm
•OT varies by workload
•Starting Wage: $19.06 / hr
