Blue Springs Metals is a full service, steel processing service center, which specializes in slitting, blanking and warehousing in North America. Our product range includes flat rolled steel, hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, exposed and coated steel products. We have industry leading technology and highly trained team members located in our 200,000 square foot climate controlled facility.
Blue Springs Metals, LLC is certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) as a minority owned business. We are also ISO/IATF16949 Certified.
Our major customers are the automotive and the oil and gas industries. Our major suppliers are domestic and foreign steel mills.
SUMMARY: Provides maintenance support by safe and efficient means through troubleshooting, repairing, preventing, and resolving issues of machinery/equipment within a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follows all standard operating instructions with a focus on safety
- Understand and Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs; programming would be a plus
- Welding – Stick & Mig
- Fabricating
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; proven related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Vocational/Trade or Industrial Maintenance certificate/degree would be a plus.
