Orbital Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a Nuclear Project Manager to be based in our St. Louis, MO region. The position requires direct design experience, preferably in a consulting environment, and well-rounded expertise in the nuclear power industry, specifically in the areas of digital control system upgrades. Experience in other industry performing full system digital control systems upgrades will also be considered. Orbital is evaluating candidates based upon their project management experience, technical knowledge, field experience, and engineering design skill sets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the electric power utility industry projects is preferred. Successful experience in leadership roles managing engineering and design teams in a consulting engineering environment is preferred. Digital / I&C system upgrade experience within the nuclear power industry is preferred. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Project management experience including an understanding and use of project management and project control principles and tools is required. Candidates should have a thorough understanding and aptitude in the use of current computer software including general office products, design, and business enterprise software.
Education and Credentials:
This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.
