- The Department of Biology is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 1 to engage in research projects to build a human protein atlas for neurodegeneration using iPSC models in the laboratory of Dr. Kang Shen and Birgitt Schuele.
- The LSRP1 will be responsible for designing, performing, and analyzing experiments under the guidance of the PI or a senior research scientist.
- The position will involve cell culture maintenance of iPSC lines, differentiation of iPSCs into neurons and other cell types, and performing and analyzing experiments using these cell lines. The candidate must practice sound judgment and decision-making, effective written & oral communication, strong attention to detail, and respectful relationship management.
