Description

• Design and Development: Create detailed designs for headers and exhaust systems using CAD software, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes and oversee testing procedures to validate design specifications and performance metrics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to ensure designs meet customer requirements and production capabilities.
• Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into new product designs.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs, including technical drawings, specifications, and test results.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the manufacturing process, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions. 

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive design engineering, with a focus on Headers/Exhaust systems or related components.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Rhino or Tezet)
• Fixture design and Prototyping a plus
• Welding and fabrication a plus
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Must provide high level professional behavior, with time management and punctuality. With attention to detail completing all assigned tasks and goals assigned in a timely fashion.
