The Senior Software Engineer will advance the capabilities of meteorology and oceanography (METOC) communities by providing software design, development, and maintenance with a geospatial emphasis. The position focuses on design and development of front-end user interfaces, geoprocessing tools, and backend data processing. This on-site position is located at NASA’s Stennis Space Center, supporting the Commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) and the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO). This is a full-time on-site position with options for telework based on project timelines.
