Hedy Holmes Staffing Services is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Stockton, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 /hourly
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 4:30pm
Job Description:The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records for our company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Collection Calls
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient verbal and writing skills.
- Word, Excel. Outlook knowledge is required.
