Aventure Staffing and Professional Services is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Storm Lake, IA
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses problems and performs preventative maintenance ensuring problems and tasks are addressed in a timely manner.
- Communicates, coordinates, and schedules all repairs and problems at the plant.
- Communicates with Maintenance Manager / Supervisor when parts or outside labor will be needed to complete tasks.
- Remove, install, rebuild, weld, torch, lubricate and clean all equipment associated with the process.
- Performs equipment, instrument and electrical work as needed.
- Assists Maintenance Manager with inventory management.
- Operates heavy equipment including forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Ability to read and understand computer printouts, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior maintenance experience at Ethanol or Soybean Crush
- High school diploma or GED required
- Communicate/read effectively in English
- AA, BS and/or technical education is preferred.
- 2 or more years of related experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Willing to be part of on-call rotation.
- $30/hour
