Title: Mechanical Engineer II

Location: Stoughton, WI 53589

Contract duration : 12 Months Contract

Shift: 1st shift (8am – 5pm)

Education: Mechanical Engineering degree is required

Experience: 2-4 years’ experience doing the same work

**Additional Manager notes**

These candidates will be managing data quality, running test, and analyzing data.

These candidates will need to be hands on and interface with test requestors.

Someone with a coding background is a bonus.

The manager would like 2-4 years’ experience doing the same.

Mechanical Engineering degree is required.

When the manager is ready the interviews will be done onsite.

These positions are onsite.

Summary:

Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions, fastening methods, and other engineering information.

Typically has a high school diploma or GED.

Possesses technical skills, including the knowledge of design techniques and blueprint reading.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required: 2-4 years’ experience required

Responsibility level:

Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor

Skills:

• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required)
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software".
