Coral Shores Behavioral Health is an inpatient mental health facility located in Stuart, Florida that treats adult populations, children and adolescents with mental health and / or drug addiction issues.

Requirements :

Clinical Duties : The scope of practice of the Nurse Practitioner shall be evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

In particular, the treatments offered consist of insight, cognitive and supportive psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, health teaching, case management, discharge planning, and the prescribing of medication.

Prescribes medication and consistently utilizes the nursing process to provide quality patient care to hospital patients.

Monitors medications and dosages and adjusts as needed. Follows hospital nursing policies and procedures in prescribing medications and treatments.

Requirements :

Graduation from accredited Master s level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatry. Must have Florida license or the ability to obtain.

PMHNP certification is required.
