Our Client: A leading company in the European market for coatings, with many subsidiaries around the world.
Who we are looking for: An Accountant for the company's German headquarters near Stuttgart.
Key tasks:
- Conducting ongoing accounting as well as accounts payable and receivable accounting
- Clarifying and posting accounting transactions
- Determining and processing provisions and accruals
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Performing other tasks in financial accounting as well as account clarification and reconciliation
- Preparing payment runs
- Supporting VAT advance returns and filings with the tax office
Your profile:
- Successfully completed commercial training as an accountant or tax specialist, or a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Fluent German
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word)
- User knowledge in Office 365 is desirable
- Enjoyment of financial topics and taking responsibility within a team
- Precise, reliable, and structured working method
- Ability to work independently and analytical thinking skills
- Good communication skills paired with team spirit
