Your Future Tasks
- Planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of network components such as switches, routers and firewalls
- Monitoring and managing networks to ensure high availability and reliability of network resources
- Diagnosis and resolution of network problems
- Implementing and managing network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection systems (IDS)
- Creation and maintenance of network infrastructure documentation
- Provision of technical support
- Collaborate on network projects, including upgrades, expansions and new installations
- Completed training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the requested position
- Knowledge in the configuration, maintenance and administration of network technology, including routing, switching and firewalls
- In-depth knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, WLAN), network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security standards
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or comparable are an advantage
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
