Good Shepherd Hospice is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Hospice ( Western Suffolk County ) Near Suffolk, NY

Seeking Hospice RNs throughout Long Island's Suffolk County!

$10,000 sign on bonus and excellent benefits

RNs with Good Shepherd Hospice provide nursing care to hospice patients, residents and/or family members within their home setting. Focusing on symptom management and pain control, the quality of care provided will be consistent with the Standards of Practice determined for the hospice program.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hospice concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current and valid NY State license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of one year of recent hands on experience as a Registered Nurse.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years recent acute care nursing experience with excellent assessment skills.
  • Electronic Medical Record experience.
