Inventory Control Coordinator

Location : Sumas, WA Type : Full Time Department : Maintenance

• Physically receive and sort parts. Stock items in an orderly manner and so they are easily accessible, both in the Parts Room and in satellite locations throughout the plant.

Will require use of a forklift.

• Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies; Investigation of receiving discrepancies.
• Prepare parts for work orders to be completed on the next PM Day. Parts to be ready at least 24 hours prior to the PM Day.
• Maintain records of orders placed, number, type of parts and supplies available and where they are stored location and with a computerized system;
• Prepare orders to replenish parts and supplies; Maintain Min / Max, adequate quantities of each stock item.
• Provide advice for clients, or users of the facility, on the parts, supplies and materials required;
• Accountable for Parts / Spares physical Inventory. Review periodic Inventory adjustments, Cycle counts. Work with supervisor to ensure the best parts organization.
• Advise Planner, production personnel or internal user on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested.
• Pack or ship inventory or maintenance repair spares for destination. Assisting with inbound receiving as required
• Maintain cleanliness standards of warehouse and own work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
• 2 years receiving experience preferred.
• 1 year of forklift experience strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Additional higher education is preferred.

Requires walking throughout the plant to deliver parts on a routine basis.

• Computer Skills Word, Excel, etc.
• Day shifts. Scheduled days : Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. Overtime work may be required based upon business demands.
• WORK AUTHORIZATIONS AND TRAVEL;
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Minimal travel requirements
