Job Qualifications:
Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems,
information technology or a related field from an accredited institution and five years of experience
working in IT operations, supervising teams, and overseeing large technology projects.
Master’s degree preferred. Knowledge of higher education administrative systems applications
and environment. Demonstrated experience with database management (relational database
design, queries, and table creation, etc.), system backup and restoration, Microsoft Windows
server 2016 or higher security and management, SQL, installation of software updates and
computer hardware, network configurations, cabling and LANs, certification standards, website
applications, digital signage, etc. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
with minimal supervision, and to work effectively as a team leader or member. Strong
interpersonal skills, decision-making skills, and ability to communicate effectively, orally and in
writing. Knowledge of VMWare or Active Directory is a plus. This is a hands-on position.
