Role Summary

Role: Director of Hardware Engineering

Location: Sunnyvale, CA.

Summary

The Director of Hardware Engineering will play a critical role in revolutionizing the RV industry by redefining hardware architecture for our 100% Electric RV. This individual will be instrumental in maturing our existing technologies and bringing them to production, ensuring our systems are reliable and ready for deployment for mass production. The candidate will be pivotal in moving our technology from an to a production-ready system, with significant opportunities for personal growth and impact on future product designs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale a small team with significant potential for organizational growth.
• Oversee the entire hardware testing process, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and effective.
• Play a key role in maturing and innovating hardware architecture.
• Manage the complexities of high and low voltage requirements throughout the production process.
• Lead and navigate production challenges to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Work closely with various teams to ensure successful implementation and testing of hardware systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience releasing products into the hands of customers.
• experience in the electric vehicle space. 
• Extensive experience with both high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Proven track record in shipping products, preferably from new, innovative companies.
• Significant experience in hardware production.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build trust and navigate production challenges.
• Thrives in an innovative fast moving startup environment
