Overview:
Join our team as a Design/Sales Consultant and be part of a dynamic retail environment where your passion for the stone industry and sales skills will shine.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to select countertops and fully educate them on the process, care, and maintenance of selected stone.
- Demonstrate product features and explain benefits to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, follow-ups, and sale orders
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and sales records effectively
- Experience in retail environment is preferred; do not have to have prior sales experience.
- Proficiency in retail math for calculating discounts, commissions, and profits
- Knowledge in Microsoft products; excel, word, etc.
- Fluency in English.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to effectively sell products by understanding customer needs
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally
- Have a strong understanding of the industry and its products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
